Rita Mahdessian

Rita Mahdessian is the founding partner of Justice For All, A Professional Law Corporation, and a seasoned attorney with more than three decades of legal experience spanning immigration, civil litigation, and international legal matters. She is widely recognized for her unwavering advocacy on behalf of immigrants, families, and individuals seeking justice within complex legal systems.

Ms. Mahdessian received her legal education in the United Kingdom, where she completed an LL.B. (Honours) at the University of Reading, Berkshire, graduating in 1980. She subsequently earned a Master's degree in Business Law (MA) from the City University of London (1981–1982). In 1981, she was called to the Bar at Grays Inn, London, one of the historic Inns of Court, and became a Barrister-at-Law of England, reflecting elite legal training within the British legal tradition.

In addition to her education and qualification in England, Ms. Mahdessian is admitted to practice law in multiple jurisdictions. She has been a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 1984 and a member of the State Bar of California since 1989, giving her a strong international and comparative legal background.

Ms. Mahdessian began her legal career in the United States as an Associate Attorney at Yeghiayan & Associates in Glendale, California, where she practiced from 1989 to 2017. During her long tenure with the firm, she handled complex civil, administrative, and international legal matters, contributing to cases that resulted in a total recovery exceeding $53 million. Her work during this period demonstrated meticulous legal analysis, strategic advocacy, and consistent success in high-stakes matters.

From 2015 to 2023, Ms. Mahdessian operated the Law Offices of Rita Mahdessian in Glendale, California, where she served as Principal Attorney. In her private practice, she represented clients in a broad range of matters, including immigration, bankruptcy, personal injury, and accident-related cases, providing individualized legal strategies and hands-on representation for individuals and families facing complex legal challenges.

Since 2023, Ms. Mahdessian has served as a founding partner and attorney at Justice For All, where her practice focuses primarily on U.S. immigration law and civil justice matters. She has successfully guided hundreds of clients through the U.S. immigration system, handling matters such as asylum applications, family-based petitions, and other immigration relief, while also maintaining a strong civil litigation practice.
